(.362), slugging percentage (.533), runs (53), hits (83), at bats
(229), RBI (43), doubles (20), triples (2), home runs (5) and
walks (18) ... got off to a strong start, going 3-for-4 and
scoring once on opening day vs. James Madison (Feb.
15) ... doubled twice and scored twice en route to a
3-for-5 showing at College of Charleston (Feb. 23) ...

nightcap of a doubleheader vs. Pace (March 1) ... connected
on first career homer at Shipley Field and finished game with career and team season high six
RBI vs. Vermont (March 8) ... had productive offensive day, going 3-for-4 including a double,
two runs, three RBI and a stolen base in a win over UMBC (March 21) ... against top-ranked
Clemson, finished 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI (March 29) ... had a monster day at the plate,
slugging a pair of home runs, including a walk-off shot, while driving in three and scoring
three in an upset victory over nationally-ranked Georgia Tech (April 13) ... in a two-game span

As a Freshman (2001): Gained valuable experience as a freshman as he played in 47 games,

the team's best averages vs. left-handed pitchers at .364 ... was a clutch performer as evidenced
by his .340 batting average with runners in scoring position ... sixth on the club with
