2002 Update:
• Reshirted the 2002 season with mononucleosis.
On Augustyn: Freshman midfielder who will be redshirted this season … suffered from mononucleosis during preseason camp … a very athletic player … one of the fastest on the team … has good strength and size which should aid his development in college.
Before Maryland: Lettered in lacrosse and football at Robinson High School in Fairfax, Va. … played lacrosse for Tom Tufts … was a high school All-American as well as a first team member of the all-region and all-district teams … captured MVP honors at the Potomac Classic All-Star Game … member of the 2001 Virginia state title team … scored 49 goals as a junior … starred on the gridiron, as he set school records for most receptions in a game and the longest kickoff return TD in a game.
