As a Junior (2005): Finished second on the team and 33rd overall at the Great American Cross Country Festival with a mark of 25:57.10 ... ran to a 59th place finish at the ACC Championship meet (25:34.20).
As a Sophomore (2004): Ran in all seven of the team's races... top two times of the season came in consecutive meets when finished fifth overall at the ACC Pre-Meet and 11th at the JMU Invitational ... ran a 26:17.46 at the JMU Invite, his best time of the season ... an NCAA East Regional and IC4A qualifier.
As a Freshman (2003): Ran in four meets during the 2003 season... season-best performance at the Maryland Invitational on Oct. 11, finishing in 21st place with a time of 26:05... competed in Charlotte Cross Country Relays, Mount Invitational and IC4A Championships.
Before Maryland: Lettered four times in cross country at Mt. Hebron High School in Pasadena, Md... helped lead team to county and regional championships all four years... achieved and broke Howard County high school 2-mile record three consecutive years... named All-County and All-Metro three years...earned MVP honors twice... captained Mt.
