As a Sophomore: Compiled a 13-20 record as a regular starter for the Terps at 197 pounds … finished with a 4-8 dual meet mark … pinned Thomas Mathews in 4:07 to help Maryland to a 51-3 rout of Coppin State … competed in five tournaments for the Terps … placed sixth at Millersville-Belles Invitational after recording three victories … lost to eventual ACC champion Zack Breitenbach of NC State, 11-4 at ACC Championships … won two matches at Coppin State and East Stroudsburg Opens … also appeared in Sunshine Open and Penn State Open … one of seven Terps to compete in all twelve dual matches.
As a Freshman: Compiled a 6-21 overall record as a regular starter for Maryland at 197 pounds ... appeared in his first ACC Tournament, but lost in the opening round to Jason Gore of NC State, 7-3 ... finished 3-8 in dual matches ... pinned Delaware State's Sam Johnson in 6:35 to help the team to a season-best 43-0 win over the Hornets ... won a tight 7-3 sudden death match against Bucknell's Carl Perrone ... came out victorious in his first career dual appearance with a 15-4 major decision against Jason Wood of Coppin State ... also won matches at both the Coppin Open and Millersville Belles Tournament.
