Fall 2011: Competed as an individual at the Maryland Intercollegiate and carded a 234 (73-79-82).
Before Maryland: Selected First Team Washington Post All-Met in 2010...2010 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) champion...three-time All-WCAC First Team selection...twice voted Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention...four-time St. Mary's All-County selection...four-time St. Mary's County Co-Player of the Year...three-time St. Mary's Ryken golf MVP...won the Maryland State Junior championship at the 14-15 year old age group with a score of 72.
Personal: Born in LaPlata, Md...son of Jerry and Dawn Short...father played football and ran track at Salisbury University...has two siblings, Austin and MacKenzie...chose Maryland over Wisconsin, Northwestern, Columbia, Miami (Ohio), Akron, James Madison and Towson.
