As a junior: Posted her season-best time in the 5,000 meters at the Appalachian State Invitational, a 19:21.20…took three top-20 finishes…improved her time from the 2001 Maryland Invitational by 20 seconds in 2002…competed in the NCAA Regionals and the ECAC Championships.
As a sophomore: Finished in 18th place at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Nov. 17, posting her fastest time of the season with a 19:10.4.
Before Maryland: Won two varsity letters in cross country at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro, Maine…led her team to the 1996 National TAC Championships in Irvine, CA…was named the MVP of her team in 1998.
