Before Maryland: Completed three years of varsity gymnastics, cross country and winter and spring track at Half Hollow Hills High School West in Dix Hills, N.Y....her track team won the winter and spring league championships all four years...was the captain of her gymnastics team and was an All-League gymnast for two years...won the All-League and All-County Coaches' Award in track...was captain of her winter and spring track teams for four years...named to All-Academic and All-League teams in cross country...was voted the MVP of her cross country team and won the Coaches' Award...served as cross country captain for two years...participated in National Honor Society, the French Honor Society, and won a Golden Key Award.
