As a Sophomore (2003): Ran in two races for the Terps, finishing 33rd at the Mount Invitational (22:10.8) and 51st at the Maryland Invitational (20:54.6).
As a Freshman (2002): Ran in three meets in 2002...placed 14th at the Maryland State Championships...recorded season-best time at the Maryland Invitational.
Before Maryland: Attended Colonie Central High School in Albany, N.Y., where she ran varsity cross country and indoor and outdoor track...she was the Yale champion in the 800 meters, and her 4X800 team won the outdoor state championships two times...her indoor 4X800 team also won the state championships twice...she served as captain and was voted the MVP of her indoor track team...held All-American status for two years...participated in the National Honor Society and was on the honor roll for four years.
Personal: Daughter of Margaret and James Tremblay...has one sister, Jill...brother James Jr. runs cross country and track at the University of Connecticut...favorite athlete is Marion Jones...majoring in knesiology.
