Maryland Men Tabbed Third by Soccer America and Sixth by Soccer News

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland men's soccer team, the 1996 Atlantic Coast Conference champions, are picked third in the nation in Soccer America's preseason poll, and are tabbed sixth by Soccer News in its preseason poll.

The Maryland women's soccer team is picked 10th by Soccer America, and ninth by Soccer News, in the early preseason polls.

The Maryland men will scrimmage the Naval Academy on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the practice field across from Byrd Stadium.
