On Bryant: Fifth-year senior who came on in his final two years to become one of the best guards in the ACC ... after missing time early in the season due to injury, came on in the second half of 2003 to help pace the Terp running game … one of the strongest players on the team … an Iron Terp with a 782 strength index (third-best on the team and tops on the offensive line) … set all-time Maryland offensive line records for strength index and squat (740) … broke his own squat record of 695 from a year ago … also squatted 13 reps of 545 pounds on testing day … 475-pound bench is also best among Terp linemen … has good feet and excels at pulling.

2003 (Senior): Started the last nine games at right guard after missing the first three due to injury (broken right foot) ... (vs. UVa) ... recorded three “big blocks” with no missed assignments ... (vs. UNC) ... finished with three “big blocks” on the game ... (at GT) ... Terps' highest-graded offensive lineman ... 2000 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not play in the first two games of the season, but came on to play in the final nine games, earning a total of six starts at right guard … entered the season listed No. 2 on the depth chart behind Bob Krantz but seized the opportunity to move into a starting role when Krantz was bothered by injuries.

1999 (Freshman): Redshirt season … a local prep signee who was expected to have an impact as a true freshman until he fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot on the first day of fall camp.

High School: Graduated from Crossland High School in 1999 ... was a second team All-Met selection by the Washington Post and a first team All-Prince George's 4A choice as a senior ... named an All-American by PrepStar and an all-region selection by SuperPrep ... played both offensive tackle and defensive tackle as a senior ... credited with 33 pancake blocks and allowed just one sack ... on defense, he totaled 48 tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles ... played right tackle on offense and defensive tackle as a junior, his first season of organized football ... also played varsity basketball ... high school was coach Alan Arrington.
