On Connolly: Returning letterwinner who enters 2001 as the incumbent long snapper … gained valuable experience at the end of last year after Scott Rudolph was injured … has added almost 20 pounds since the start of last season.

2000 (Freshman): Played in six games, all at long snapper … was one of only five true freshmen to see action … was the Terps' long snapper from midway through the Clemson game on as Rudolph – a four-year starter – tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the contest.

High School: A one-year letterwinner and 2000 graduate of DeMatha High School ... one-year varsity player who was the team's long snapper his senior season of 1999 ...
