Attention Terps Fan! Are you looking for a fun and exciting way to celebrate your child's birthday? Consider celebrating with the TERPS Softball team and any of our exciting games. This season, Maryland Softball is offering a Birthday package which includes: free admission for the whole party, a private picnic table decorated for your child's birthday, a birthday announcement over the PA system, the chance to participate in exciting in-game contests with great prizes, the opportunity to meet the Terps on the field after that game, and a TERPS softball poster signed by all the players and coaches. Autograph & Picture Session After Every Home Game!
Terps Fans! Don't miss this great opportunity to meet the players of the 2009 Maryland Softball team. Fans can get autographs or take pictures with players and coaches. The only time this offer will not be available is when Maryland is hosting a tournament. The Autograph and picture session will take place on the third baseline so don't miss out!

At this special event, come help Maryland Softball fight breast cancer by "thinking pink!" We will be giving out pink poms for all fans! All players and coaches will be wearing pink on their uniforms! A trivia question relating to Maryland Softball will be read by the announcer. Contestants will submit their answers to the Marketing Table for a chance to win a prize. In the middle of the 5th inning, we will play "Take me out to the Ball game" over the PA and all fans will have to opportunity to participate in singing along or just doing a quick stretch! |

Strike Out Cancer will be a fundraising event for The American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society will set up a table for brochures and information about their organization available for softball fans. We will provide bidding sheets for fans to pledge that for every strike out in one game they will donate a certain amount to The American Cancer Society. A trivia question relating to Maryland Softball will be read by the announcer. Contestants will submit their answers to the Marketing Table for a chance to win a prize. In the middle of the 5th inning, we will play "Take me out to the Ball game" over the PA and all fans will have to opportunity to participate in singing along or just doing a quick stretch! |

Make sure not to miss the Maryland seniors play in their last home game at Robert E. Taylor Stadium! A special ceremony will take place prior to the game to recognize the seniors for their outstanding accomplishments and services to Maryland Athletics. PROMOTIONS DURING THE GAME
On the Field
Dress Like a Terp Contest
Two (2) contestants will be chosen prior to the 4th inning. Contestants will run around the bases, put on a softball uniform and helmet and the first to tag home plate wins a prize.
Dizzy Bat Contest
Two (2) contestants will be chosen prior to the 4th inning. Contestants will spin around the bat (with a helmet on) and race in opposite directions of the diamond. The contestant to reach home plate first will receive a prize.
Honorary First Pitch
Prior to game someone will be picked to throw out the first pitch. These will occur during weekend games and the person will be picked based on that day's event (i.e. Breast Cancer Survivor for Strike Out Cancer Day).
In the Stands
Bring 'Em Homers
After each homerun hit by a Terps player, a lucky fan will win a prize. Winners will be selected at random out of fans who entered the contest at the marketing table prior to the game.
Name That Tune
During inning break a song will be played. Members of the audience can then submit their guesses of song AND artist at the marketing table. From the correct answers, one (1) will be drawn and receive a prize.
Foul Ball Frenzy
Throughout the game, bring a foul ball to the marketing table to have a name entered for a drawing for a softball autographed by the team following the game.
Terrapin Trivia
Two (2) contestants will be chose prior to the start of the game from the promotion card sign up list at the marketing table. A trivia question relating to Maryland Softball will be read by the announcer. Contestants will submit their answers for a chance to win a prize.
Lucky Program
Between innings an announcement will be made for fans to check their game program. The program signed by Coach Watten will win a prize.
Lucky Item Contest
Between innings the announcer will announce a random item and the first person to bring it to the marketing table will receive a prize.
