The No. 2 Maryland men's soccer team kicks off its preseason slate with a match at Penn State Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Terps are ranked second in both the NSCAA and TopDrawerSoccer.com preseason polls heading into the 2013 campaign.
Maryland will play host to St. John's in its lone home exhibition this Saturday at 7 p.m. The squad then heads to the West Coast for a pair of contests at Stanford and California on Aug. 30 and Sept. 1 before returning home for an epic battle against Duke Friday, Sept. 6.
The Terps return seven starters - including MAC Hermann Trophy winner Patrick Mullins - from last year's unit which advanced to the College Cup and won both the ACC regular season and tournament championship.
