
B1G Game Day Experience on Tap for Saturday

Fans in attendance will be treated to an exciting gameday experience leading up to kickoff, and will be treated to a few 'B1G' surprises throughout the game.
The official pregame event of Maryland Football, Terp Town is FREE and open to the public. Terp Town promotes an enjoyable family experience prior to kickoff and is located at the forefront of all gameday excitement on Fieldhouse Drive just south of Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.
Terp Town will feature a variety of special guests and giveaways. Opening at 9 a.m., the first 5,000 fans will receive a pom-pom giveaway courtesy of VW Brown. Fans will also have the opportunity to welcome and cheer on the team as they arrive on the team bus through Terp Town at 9:45 a.m.
The National Champion women's lacrosse team will also be making an appearance at Terp Town to greet fans and sign autographs from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Fans can take pictures and view the National Championship trophy during that time as well.
Terp Town also features live music from 10 Step Groove, food and drink vendors, cornhole games, face painting, inflatable games, a photo booth, a live DJ and an exclusive Terp Town discount offered by the Terrapin Team shop.
Fans are encouraged to wear red and arrive early, as the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative rally towel courtesy of Pepsi.
Prior to the game, a ceremonial coin toss between Maryland and Ohio State officials and special guests will take place. University of Maryland President Dr. Wallace Loh, University of Maryland Director of Athletics Kevin Anderson, Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany, Ohio State University President Dr. Michael Drake and Ohio State Director of Athletics Gene Smith, Congressman Steny Hoyer and Chancellor of the University System of Maryland WIlliam Kirwan.
In addition, the recently inducted Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2014, the aforementioned women's lacrosse national championship team, and a pair of programs whom advanced to the Final Four last year - women's basketball and men's lacrosse will also be honored during the game for their 2013-2014 accomplishments.
Additionally, all fans in attendance will be a part of a panorama photo and will be able to purchase the gameday commemorative photo beginning on Sunday, October 5.
Parking lots open at 6 a.m. with Terp Town opening at 9 a.m. and gates opening at 10:30 a.m. Kickoff against Ohio State is at noon.
