
Terps Finish at NCAA Regionals

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Senior Myah Hicks notched another strong effort to lead the Maryland women's cross country team at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships Friday.
Hicks crossed the line in 22:03 (59th overall) on Penn State's 6-killometer course. Junior Emily Vandewater finished just behind Hicks in 22:13.
Junior Catherine Sheffo was the next Terp to complete the course, running a time of 22:37. Katie Nappi (22:49), Sydney Almeida (22:53), Maeve McCoy (23:50) and Charde' Barnes (23:35) also competed for Maryland.
The team competition was won by Georgetown. Hoya senior Katrina Coogan captured the individual regional title.
