Terps Tagged No. 2 in NSCAA Preseason Poll

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team is ranked No. 2 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Men's National Preseason Rankings, announced Wednesday.
The Terps will face eight opponents this season ranked in the preseason top-25 including home games against Big Ten foes Michigan State (10), Penn State (15) and Wisconsin (21).
Other games against top-25 opponents include home games against Georgetown (9), Coastal Carolina (17) and UMBC (19). The Terps will travel to face Louisville (14) and Navy (t-25).
Head coach Sasho Cirovski returns nine starters from a year ago including Dan Metzger, a player who was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy watch list also announced Wednesday.
