B1G Moment: Terps Battle Huskers for Sweet 16

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Back in 2008, the top-seeded Maryland women's basketball team found itself in a battle with eighth-seeded Nebraska in the NCAA Second Round in College Park. Marissa Coleman dominated the second half to lead the Terps to a 76-64 win and the Sweet Sixteen, en route to the Elite Eight.

Ashleigh Newman and Jade Perry got the Terps' energy going in the first half to take a 15-point lead. Nebraska battled back and the Terrapins led the Huskers 34-33 at halftime. Coleman responded to the head coach Brenda Frese's halftime talk and scored 19 points, including 15 in the second half. She finished with 19 total points, along with Kristi Toliver. Crystal Langhorne ended up with 18 points and 12 rebounds. RECAP | BOX SCORE
