Fox Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Sophomore Victor Fox of the Maryland men's golf team was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week Wednesday for the first weekly honor in his career.
Fox led the Terrapins in the Tar Heel Intercollegiate at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. this past weekend. He finished tied for ninth with his combined score of 214 (71-69-72), which was four-under par on the weekend.
Fox parred 44 of the 54 holes in the tournament – more than any of the 100 other participants.
Fox and the Terrapins will compete in the Janney VCU Shootout Sept. 22-23 at the Hermitage Country Club in Manakin-Sabot, Va. Live scoring will be available at www.golfstat.com.
