#5 Terps Host #10 Buckeyes for 10th Anniversary

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Head coach Brenda Frese and the Maryland women's basketball team will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2006 NCAA championship at the Terrapins' game vs. No. 9 Ohio State on Jan. 2.
The fifth-ranked Terrapins (11-0) and the Buckeyes (7-3) will tip-off at noon at the XFINITY Center and the game will be nationally-televised on CBS.
The first 2,006 fans in attendance will receive a gold commemorative T-shirt to celebrate the Terrapins' title run. The current team will sign autographs after the game.

Maryland's matchup vs. Ohio State will open their home slate of Big Ten games. The Terrapins went 18-0 to win the Big Ten regular season title last year, then topped Ohio State, 77-74, last March to win the Big Ten Tournament title as well.
