COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Former Maryland football standouts Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil, Stefon Diggs and Deon Long are among 300 standout prospects set to participate in the 2015 National Football League Scouting Combine this weekend.
Wide receivers Diggs and Long will show off their athletic prowess on Saturday, Feb. 21, while Cudjoe-Virgil will participate with the linebackers on Sunday, Feb. 21. The weekend's events can be seen on the NFL platform of networks.
Diggs, a 2014 All-Big Ten selection, ranks third in school history in all-purpose yards (3968), t-third in reception yards (2089) fourth in receptions (140). The Gaithersburg, Md., native averaged 12.8 yards per catch as a senior, racking up a team-high 792 receiving yards and catching five touchdowns in only 10 games.
Long appeared in all 13 games for the Terrapins as a senior, ranking second on the team in receptions (51), yards (575) and yards per catch (11.3).
Cudjoe-Virgil, a native of Baltimore, Md., appeared in 15 career games for Maryland, notching 37 tackles, six tackles for loss and an interception.
