Women?s Hoops to Release Senior Bobbleheads

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The eighth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (12-2, 1-1 B1G) will start a new tradition next Sunday and will release bobbleheads for the four Terrapin seniors – Malina Howard, Brene Moseley, Chloe Pavlech and Tierney Pfirman.

The first bobblehead, Pfirman's, will be released at the Terrapins' Jan. 17 game against No. 16 Northwestern. Pavlech's will be given away at the Jan. 23 game against No. 23 Michigan State, Moseley's on Jan. 30 vs. Indiana and Howard's on Feb. 28 vs. Minnesota.

For the giveaways, fans will receive a scratch-off ticket when they enter XFINITY Center and 500 lucky fans will win a bobblehead. Non-winning tickets will include a merchandise discount at the Terrapin Team Shop. Fans with winning scratch off tickets can redeem their ticket for a bobble head in the XFINITY Center Pavilion located on the ground floor, following the conclusion of the game.

“This is something we've been trying to do for a while now and we're thrilled that it's actually happening for our fans and for our seniors,” head coach Brenda Frese said. “We hope our fans and our seniors enjoy them and grow their collections as we start this new and fun tradition.”

The Terps will welcome Nebraska (9-3, 0-1) to the XFINITY Center Thursday for a 7 p.m. matchup.

All fans in attendance will receive a Basketball Bingo card and have the chance to win prizes throughout the game. For tickets to the Terps-Huskers matchup, click here or call the Terrapin Ticket Office at 1-800-IM-A-TERP.
