UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Junior Micha Powell won the 500m in a Maryland record time of 1:12.46 to highlight a successful day for the Maryland track and field team at the Penn State Relays Saturday afternoon.
The Terrapins captured five event titles with multiple athletes obtaining personal bests. Senior Dan Trettel and sophomore Breanna Coleman picked up event wins for Maryland.

The junior also anchored Maryland's 4x400 relay squad that crossed the line first in 3:43.57, a mark that ranks fifth in Maryland history. Juniors Taylor Tucker and Lisa Meneau, along with freshman Thaila Cooper made up the rest of the team.
