COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team will seek an eighth-straight win Friday night when it plays host to Wisconsin at 7 p.m. at Ludwig Field.

• Sophomore midfielder Amar Sejdic gave the No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team the only goal it needed Monday night as it downed No. 22 West Virginia, 1-0, to stay unbeaten in 2016.
• Maryland (10-0-2) is outscoring foes by a 29-7 margin this season. Senior goalkeeper Cody Niedermeier made a career-high eight saves to notch his fifth-straight shutout - matching a program record (1982, 1986).
• Wisconsin (7-2-2, 3-1-1 B1G) defeated Green Bay, 3-0, its last time out. The Badgers are outscoring opponents, 15-7, this season led by four goals from Christopher Mueller.
• Maryland is off to its best start since the 2012 season when the team matched its best start in program history at 14-0-1, which included a tie against UCLA. Of Maryland's 12 games this season, five have been against nationally-ranked opponents including UCLA, Georgetown, Indiana, Michigan State and West Virginia.
• Maryland leads the nation in overall attendance (32,274) and average attendance (4,611).
• The Terps boast a 17-game unbeaten streak heading into Friday night. The Terps last lost to Ohio State in Columbus on Oct. 31, 2015.
