COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Fresh off winning its second Big Ten Regular Season title in three years, the No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team will host American for a midweek tilt on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Ludwig Field.

• Sophomore Eryk Williamson scored the game-winner in the 98th minute to defeat Wisconsin, 3-2, and capture the 2016 Big Ten Regular Season championship Friday night at Ludwig Field.
• The Terps (11-0-2, 6-0-1 B1G) – who played in front of a home crowd of 4,000 or more for the fifth time this season – also picked up a pair of goals from senior Alex Crognale, including a late equalizer in the 88th minute. Crognale now has four goals in 2016.
• Wisconsin's goal in the 64th minute on a Sam Brotherton goal snapped a nearly 530-minute shutout streak for the Terps, who had not allowed a goal since a 3-2 win versus Penn State on Sept. 18 at Ludwig Field.
• Maryland is off to its best start since the 2012 season when the team matched its best start in program history at 14-0-1, which included a tie against UCLA. Of Maryland's 13 games this season, five have been against nationally-ranked opponents including UCLA, Georgetown, Indiana, Michigan State and West Virginia.
• The 2016 regular season title is Maryland's fourth in the last five years and its eighth under the tutelage of head coach Sasho Cirovski.
• The Terps boast an 18-game unbeaten streak heading into Tuesday night. The Terps last lost to Ohio State in Columbus on Oct. 31, 2015.
