COLLEGE PARK, Md. --

- Maryland improved to 2-6 all-time against Michigan State, winning its first game against the Spartans since a 34-7 victory on Oct. 7, 1950.

- Maryland pieced together a 96-yard drive – the team's longest since a 99-yard touchdown drive against Marshall on Dec. 27, 2013 in the Military Bowl

- Maryland had two 90+yard touchdown drives (96, 90) for the first time since Nov. 20, 1999 vs. Virginia

- Running backs Ty Johnson and Lorenzo Harrison III both eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark, with Johnson finishing with 115 yards and Harrison notching 105 yards. It was the first time Maryland had two 100-yard rushers since Brandon Ross (108) and C.J. Brown (107) on Nov. 29, 2014 against Rutgers.

- It was Johnson's second career 100-yard game and Harrison's first career 100-yard game. Harrison also had a career-high 17 carries.

- Senior wide receiver Levern Jacobs had nine catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. Jacobs now has 19 catches over his last two games, after having just three through his first five games. Jacobs also passed Azizuddin Abdur-Ra'oof (1984-87) to move into ninth in Maryland history with 111 career receptions.

-  Senior quarterback Perry Hills threw two touchdown passes to move past Dan Henning (1985-87) for ninth all-time in Maryland history with 25.

- Junior linebacker Shane Cockerille picked up a career-high 15 tackles in the game.

- Sophomore D.J. Moore picked up a reception in his 15th consecutive game.

- Maryland committed a season-low three penalties in the game.
