Terps to Hold Media Day, Season Kickoff this Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland wrestling team will host its annual Season Kickoff Weekend this week, highlighted by the Red & Black Wrestle-Offs on October 30.
The weekend will serve as the official kickoff to Maryland's third season in the Big Ten. Events will stretch over four days.
Maryland will hold its preseason media day this Thursday, October 27 in the XFINITY Center Wrestling Room. Wrestlers will be made available starting at 3:15 pm, before the squad's team photo and head coach Kerry McCoy's press conference. The Terps will then host an open practice on Friday, October 28 at 4:00 pm. On Saturday, October 29 another open practice will be held at 10:00 am before the team's kickoff banquet at 5:00 pm in Heritage Hall of the XFINITY Center. Click here for more information.
The Red & Black Wrestle-Offs will take place Sunday at the XFINITY Center Pavilion at 12:00 pm.
