Turn back the clock, ladies and gentleman! Two veteran pass catchers who used to rock red and gold are enjoying late-career resurgences in 2016.
Eleven years in, Redskins tight end Vernon Davis is still getting it done. The former sixth-overall NFL draft selection hauled in all six of his targets last Sunday, totaling a season-high 79 yards.
Davis now ranks within the top-20 amongst all tight ends in receiving yards. He also eclipsed 6,000 career receiving yards during Week 7, which places him 27th amongst active receivers.

In Pittsburgh, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey found the endzone for the third time in four weeks, catching a 14-yard touchdown from quarterback Landry Jones. He finished the game with three receptions going for 30 yards.
Heyward-Bey's three touchdowns this season are his most in a season since 2012. Additionally, since Week 4, only eight players in the NFL have scored more touchdowns.
