COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team welcomes Ohio State for Maryland United Night at Ludwig Field at 7 p.m. Friday. The match will be shown live on the Big Ten Network.

• The No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team moved its winning streak to five with a 2-0 victory over San Diego Monday night at Ludwig Field. With the win, Maryland stayed perfect at Ludwig Field this season. DJ Reeves and Amar Sejdic provided the scoring for the Terps, who shut out a third straight opponent.
• Sophomore midfielder Amar Sejdic was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after leading No. 1 Maryland to a pair of wins against Northwestern and San Diego last week. Sejdic scored two goals while tallying a pair of assists on the week. He boasts four goals for the Terps this season and currently ranks second in the conference in points (12).
• Maryland leads the all-time series vs. Buckeyes, 4-1. The Terps claimed the Big Ten tournament title with a 2-0 victory over Ohio State Nov. 15, 2015, at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Since the road loss to the Buckeyes last season, Maryland is unbeaten in its last 17 matches with a 13-0-4 overall record.
• Maryland has outscored opponents 26-7 this season including an incredible 8-0 mark in its last three matches. A total of 10 different Terps have notched goals for Maryland this season.
• Maryland is off to its best start since the 2012 season when the team matched its best start in program history at 14-0-1, which included a tie against UCLA. Of Maryland's 10 games this season, four have been against nationally-ranked opponents including UCLA, Georgetown, Indiana and Michigan State.
• Maryland is averaging a nation-best 4,552 fans per game, nearly 600 more fans than second-place UConn. The Terps also lead the country in total attendance (27,309).
• The Terps are hosting Maryland United Night this evening in conjunction with the field hockey program. A table will be located near the entrance of Ludwig Field featuring autographed memorabilia from former Terrapin great and current member of the LA Galaxy Robbie Rogers that will up for auction throughout the match. Proceeds will benefit GLSEN – a leading national education organization with the mission to create safe and affirming schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
