
Wild Earns Third B1G Player of the Week Honor

CHICAGO - Sophomore forward Gordon Wild has been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after leading the No. 1 Maryland men's soccer team to a pair of wins against Delaware and Michigan.
Wild – who leads the Big Ten in goals with 15 – netted a hat trick against Delaware and posted a goal and an assist in a come-from-behind win at Michigan to complete Maryland's first undefeated regular season since the 1968 season.
It is the third conference weekly honor for the Cologne, Germany, native.
Maryland – the top seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament – will host a quarterfinal match on Sunday at 4 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
