Terps to Host Red-Black Intrasquad Friday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Fans will be able to see the 2016-17 Maryland gymnastics team in action for the first time at the Terrapins' annual Red-Black intrasquad scrimmage Friday. The meet will be held in the XFINITY Center Pavilion at 7:00 p.m.
"We're excited for fans to see the team this week," head coach Brett Nelligan said. "We have a great freshman class and we have a really strong core of returners. I think fans are in for a fun meet leading into a strong season."
Admission for Red-Black is free, and fans will have their first opportunity to get Maryland's 2017 poster and schedule card. After the meet, the Terps will sign autographs in the Pavilion.
The Red team will consist of Sarah Faller, Dominiquea Trotter, Megan McClelland, Alex Robinson, Morgan Bixler, Alecia Farina, Deanna Magro and Jen O'Neill.
The Black squad will feature Emily Brauckmuller, Leah Slobodin, Rachel Gurnett, Evelyn Nee, Shynelle Agaran, Amanda Bertorello, Emma Johnson and Kirsten Peterman.
Guest judges from men's soccer, football, women's tennis and volleyball will score the Terps.
