COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Placekicker Brad Craddock, defensive back Sean Davis, defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue will represent Maryland football at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine.
The event will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from Feb. 26-29 and will be televised on NFL Network.
Craddock, the 2014 Lou Groza Award winner as the nation's best kicker, was 8-for-10 on field goals and 22-for-23 on extra points in 2015. As a junior, Craddock was 18-for-19 on field goals, including a school-record 57-yarder, and 44-for-44 on extra points. He finished his Maryland career third all-time in points with 297.
After switching from safety to cornerback in 2015, Davis led the Terps and ranked second in the Big Ten with five forced fumbles. He also ranked second on the team and 17th in the Big Ten with 7.3 tackles per game.
Jefferson, a 2015 Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection, started all 12 games on the defensive line for the Terps. He ranked among the Top 20 players in the Big Ten with 12.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. He also posted 39 tackles, an interception, blocked kick, forced fumble and fumble recovery on the year.
Ngakoue became Maryland's single-season sack leader by posting 13.5 sacks in 2015, breaking a record that had been shared by Mark Duda (1982) and Bruce Palmer (1978). The junior ranked second in the nation with 1.13 sacks/g and was a member of the Ted Hendricks Award Watch List for the nation's top defensive end.
