
Three Terps Garner All-Big Ten Honors

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Juniors Brionna Jones, Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and redshirt senior Brene Moseley of the fifth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (27-3, 16-2 B1G) garnered All-Big Ten honors Monday.
Jones and Walker-Kimbrough were selected to the All-Big Ten First Team by both the league's head coaches and media panel. Moseley was voted the Sixth Player of the Year and to the All-Big Ten Second Team by the head coaches. She earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors from the media panel. Walker-Kimbrough was also named to the five-player All-Big Ten Defensive Team.
Jones and Walker-Kimbrough lead the Terrapins in scoring and rebounding. Walker-Kimbrough is averaging 19.6 points and 5.6 rebounds, while Jones averages 15.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Jones leads the nation with her field goal percentage of 67.9 percent. Walker-Kimbrough is leading the country with her three-point field goal percentage of 56.5 percent.
Both Jones and Walker-Kimbrough are on the Wooden and Naismith Watch Lists. Walker-Kimbrough was voted to the All-Big Ten First by both the media and the head coaches last season. Jones was named to the media's Second Team and the coaches' First Team last year.
Moseley is third on the team in scoring with 11.4 points in 30 games played this year. She has dished 184 assists, an average of 6.1 per game. She leads the Big Ten with her assist/turnover ratio of 2.6. Moseley has racked up 985 points and 420 assists in her career.
The Terrapins topped Minnesota, 110-77, Sunday afternoon to win their second straight Big Ten title.
Maryland will be the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
