Facing off
• Maryland is set to travel to Ann Arbor for just the second time in history Saturday. The Terps are 2-0 all-time in the series, holding the Wolverines to an average of just 4.5 goals. Matt Rambo has scored seven career goals against Michigan, including four as a freshman in 2014.
• The Terps had two players recognized on the Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-America list announced March 31. Short stick midfielder Isaiah Davis-Allen was listed on the first team, while midfielder Bryan Cole was on the second team.
• Maryland had three players honored by the Big Ten this week for conference awards after strong performances against North Carolina: Kyle Bernlohr (Specialist), Connor Kelly (Co-Offensive) and Tim Muller (Defensive). Kelly was also named the NCAA.com Offensive Player of the Week for his six-point performance against the Tar Heels.
• The Terps have been phenomenal killing EMO opportunities this season, allowing just four goals on 22 chances (18%) - a mark that ranks second in the nation. Among the strong showings were games against top-2 teams Yale (0-for-5) and Notre Dame (0-for-3).
• Maryland won its fifth consecutive game Tuesday with a 13-8 victory over Penn at Franklin Field. Maryland has not allowed an opposing team to score 10 goals since allowing 10 against High Point - a span of seven games.
• Maryland has won six of its last seven road conference games dating back to 2013, including three consecutive wins. The lone loss in the span came at North Carolina on March 22, 2014.
• Sophomore Connor Kelly put together the best game of his career against North Carolina on March 26, posting a career- high six points on three goals and three assists. He was involved in each of the Terps' first five goals in the game. Kelly has totaled 13 points over his last four games (3.25/g).
• The Terrapins are 56-4 under John Tillman when scoring at least 10 goals in a game, including a spectacular mark of 37-1 over the last four seasons. That trend has continued this season with a perfect 5-0 mark.
• Maryland has received tremendous support from its first two midfield lines, which have totaled 64 points through eight games. The red midfield has posted 43 points (Cole/West/Kelly), while the gold midfield (Young, Rotanz, Gradinger) has added 21 points. The Terps' two midfield lines had 52 points through eight games in 2015.
• Junior Matt Rambo scored his 87th career goal against North Carolina, moving past Joe Cummings (2009-12) for 18th all-time on the Maryland list. He also ranks t-29th in career points with 119. He has also scored a goal in 20 straight games, a streak that ranks fifth nationally among active players.

• Michigan's John Paul is in his fourth season as head coach of the Wolverines.
Series history vs. Michigan

• The Terps' Matt Rambo has had the most success against the Wolverines of any current player, combining for seven goals in the two contests. The next leading scorer? Short stick defensive midfielder Isaiah Davis-Allen, who scored his first two career goals in last season's meeting.
TERPS Upend Penn, 13-8
• Maryland exploded for 10 first half goals and the defense allowed just two second half goals as the Terps earned a decisive 13-8 victory over Penn at Franklin Field on March 29.
• The Philadelphia native Matt Rambo (3G, 1A) and teammate Colin Heacock (3G, 1A) led the way with four points each, while Bryan Cole (2G, 1A) and Dylan Maltz (2G, 1A) each added three points. Freshman Austin Henningsen dominated the faceoff X with a 15-for-20 day, while Kyle Bernlohr made a season-high 10 saves in net. Greg Danseglio had six ground balls and caused two turnovers.
Terps Take Care of Tar Heels
• Maryland took care of business against former ACC North Carolina on March 26, never trailing in a game it won 11-8. Despite allowing two Tar Heel goals in the final minute, the Terps still held the visitors 5.5 goals below their season average.
• Sophomore Connor Kelly had the best game of his career in the win, posting a career-high six points on three goals and three assists. Kelly has two hat tricks in his career - both coming against North Carolina. Matt Rambo also tied his career-high with four goals in the game.
Maryland Defeats Albany in top-10 matchup
• The No. 6 Maryland men's lacrosse team posted its fourth double-digit scoring effort of the season en route to defeating No. 10 Albany, 10-7, on March 16.

TERPS' 91st SEASON OF LACROSSE
• The Terps boast an all-time record of 775-261-4 (.740), dating back to the first varsity team in 1924 (a team was not fielded in 1944 and 1945 due to World War II). Maryland has finished every one of its previous 90 seasons with a .500 or better record, including last season when the Terps went 15-4. The program reached the 700-win milestone with a 15-6 victory over Penn on April 14, 2009 at Ludwig Field.
• During the decade of the 2000s, Maryland went 111-49 for a .694 win percentage, making it the winningest decade in Terrapin lacrosse history. In the decade of the 1990s, Maryland posted a 95-47 record. The .669 winning percentage matched Maryland's win percentage of the 1980s when the Terps went 83-41 and also compiled a .669 win percentage.
• So far, Maryland is 53-17 in the 2010's for a .757 winning percentage - on pace for the best decade in Maryland history.
