COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland football team will hold its first Red-White Spring Football Game, presented by Toyota, under new head coach DJ Durkin on Saturday, April 16th. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.
Admission to the game and parking are free of charge.
The game can be seen live on BTN2GO with Johnny Holliday, Tim Strachan and Scott McBrien on the call.
Following the spring game, the #5 men's lacrosse team will take on Rutgers in a key Big Ten Conference matchup at 4 p.m. at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium. Fans attending the spring game who wish to return for the men's lacrosse game but would like to exit the stadium between the two events can pick up a voucher for free admission from the customer service ticket booth at Gate I.

Select-A-Seat Event: Starting at 11 a.m. fans will have an opportunity to select seats in our premium Mezzanine section as well as seating areas in the bowl for the 2016 season which features six home games. Fan Fest & Giveaways:
- The first 5,000 fans will receive an exclusive spring game poster.
- A post-game fan fest will be held on the west concourse, including an autograph session with head coach DJ Durkin and the football team, inflatable and lawn games, a photo booth and more!
Parking: Free parking available in Lot Z/1, while paid parking is available in the Stadium Drive Garage (SDG) and Union Lane Garage (ULG). Guests with disabilities who have an accessible placard may park in Stadium Drive Garage (SDG) free of charge.
Bag Policy: Maryland Athletics is announcing a new bag policy that will be in affect for the Spring Football game and will be in place throughout the 2016 Football Season. Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the stadium.
*Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
*One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
*Small clutch bags, measuring 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.
All other bags will not be permitted. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. The University of Maryland cannot safeguard items which are not permitted into the stadium.
