Sullivan Named Atlantic Region ITA Rookie of the Year

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland freshman Arnelle Sullivan has been selected as the ITA Atlantic Region Rookie of the Year and the ITA Player to Watch for the Atlantic Region, it was announced on Wednesday.
Sullivan played in the top two of Maryland's lineup all season long and tied for the team lead with 11 singles victories.
She also teamed with Ekaterina Tour to win nine matches in doubles.
Select coaches in each region comprised the awards committee. The National award winners for Division I will be announced on Tuesday, May 24.
