Facing off

??Saturday's meeting marks the third postseason matchup in?history between Maryland and Brown. The Terps hold an?unblemished 15-0 record all-time against the Bears dating?back to the inaugural meeting in 1964. Maryland is 3-0 against?Brown in the NCAA Tournament (1973, 1976, 1991).

??Maryland has trailed for just 6 minutes and 30 seconds of a?possible 300 minutes over its last five contests. Included in the?span is two games in the Big Ten Tourney in which the Terps?never trailed. The Terps have proven they can come from?behind, however, posting a 4-0 record when trailing at half.

??The Terps have won 13 NCAA Tournament games since head?coach John Tillman took over the program in 2011 - the?most in the NCAA over that span. It is also the most NCAA?wins in a six-year stretch for the program since Bud Beardmore's Terps won 13 games between 1971-76.

??Maryland won its 16th game of the season against Syracuse,?breaking the program single-season record for victories which?was set last season. The Terps have also won a single-season?program record 15 straight games, scoring 12 goals per game?during the streak and allowing just 7.5 goals per game.

??Junior Matt Rambo is one of the hottest players in college?lacrosse, totaling 22 points over his last four games. He has?posted 13 goals and nine assists during that span. Rambo?also has 19 goals in nine total NCAA appearances, tied for the?fifth-most in Maryland history with Joe Walters (2003-06).

??Maryland is making its 24th appearance in the NCAA ?Semifinals, compiling a 12-11 all-time record in the round. The?Terps have won three of their last four semifinal appearances,?including last season's 12-11 triumph over rival Johns Hopkins.

??Maryland has 10 players on its roster that have played at least?50 career collegiate games. Defenders (5): Greg Danseglio?(63), Matt Dunn (61), Isaiah Davis-Allen (53), Mac Pons (52),?Kyle Bernlohr (51). Midfielders (3): Henry West (64), Bryan?Cole (62), Pat Young (60). Attackmen (2): Matt Rambo (54),?Colin Heacock (52).

??Junior Matt Rambo recorded six points against Syracuse to?reach 63 points for the season - the most for a Maryland player?since Joe Walters posted 60 in 2006. Walters, who twice hit the?60-point mark, and Rambo are the only Terps in the 2000's to?achieve the milestone.

??The Terps are 65-4 under John Tillman when scoring at least?10 goals in a game, including wins in 48 of their last 49 games.?That trend has continued this season with a 15-0 mark. ?Maryland is also 63-4 when leading at halftime under Tillman.

??Maryland head coach John Tillman is seeking his 100th career?win as a head coach in Saturday's matchup against Brown. He?has won 69 percent of his games as head coach, including 76?percent of his games at Maryland. He has led the Terps to the?NCAA Final Four in five of six seasons at the helm.
