COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men's golf team will compete in Virginia Commonwealth's Janney Invitational Monday and Tuesday at The Country Club of Virginia's Tuckahoe Creek Course in Richmond.
The Terps will play 36 holes in the first and second rounds Monday, followed by 18 holes Tuesday. Live scoring will be available here.
Maryland is one of 14 teams competing, including Richmond, Boston College, West Virginia, Charlotte, George Washington, Virginia Tech, East Carolina, James Madison, Old Dominion, Iowa State, UNC Greensboro, Radford and tournament-host VCU.
The Tuckahoe Creek Course at The Country Club of Virginia is a par-72 that covers 6,927 yards.
Last year, senior Tom Harris won the Janney Invitational individual title with his 10-under score of 206. David Kocher tied for second with his score of 211, which was -5.
Last week, the Terrapins finished third out of 16 teams at The Invitational at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C. Sophomore Justin Feldman tied for 11th, freshman Peter Knade tied for 15th and Kocher tied for 19th.
