A pair of rookies who donned the Maryland red and gold just last year are making a noticeable impact throughout the first three weeks of their young NFL careers.
Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue recorded his second strip-sack fumble in as many weeks during a 19-17 loss to the Ravens. Ngakoue sped past top-10 draft pick Ronnie Stanley before jarring the football away from quarterback Joe Flacco.

Steelers defensive back Sean Davis notched a career-high seven tackles in a 34-3 loss to the Eagles. With starting safety Robert Golden nursing a hamstring injury, Davis will likely start at safety next week against the Chiefs.
Colts veteran linebacker D'Qwell Jackson matched Davis with seven tackles of his own during a 26-22 victory over the Chargers. The former Terp turned 33 years old on Tuesday.

While he couldn't quite duplicate his massive output from Week 2, Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs produced another solid game. He caught four passes totaling 40 yards as Minnesota improved to 3-0. Pro Football Focus currently measures Diggs as the best wide receiver in the NFL.

The Philadelphia Eagles also improved to 3-0 this past week, aided by some strong defense from cornerback Nolan Carroll. He knocked down four passes and also chipped in two tackles.
