COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland Terrapin Track and Field crew have continued to make their mark on an International stage this summer. 

Returning sophomore Dallyssa Huggins and incoming freshman Xahria Santiago will represent Canada at the Pan Am U20 Championships at the end of July in Trujillo, Peru. Huggins will compete in the Heptathlon event and Santiago will race in the 400m hurdles. This comes after Huggins placed 1st in the Heptathlon at the Canadian junior championships while also claiming 1st in the 400m hurdle junior race and 2nd in the high jump competition. Santiago moved up to compete in the senior 400m-hurdle race at the Canadian championships and posted a podium finish, placing 3rd.

Rising Senior, Alexandra Lucki competed in the senior race for the women's 1500m, while incoming freshman, Christine Laurie competed in the junior women's 1500m competition at the Canadian championships. Recent graduate, Micha Powell raced in the senior women's 400m competition to cap off the weekend for the Terps in Ottawa.

Rising junior Greg Thompson represented his home country at the British National Championships in the Discus throw. Coming off of a standout collegiate season that ended with the NCAA finals, Thompson placed in the top-five at the British Championships. 

Joining Huggins and Santiago at the Pan Am U20 Championships will be coach, Danielle Siebert. Siebert will be working with Team USA as the Head Manager for the women's group traveling to Peru. Siebert will also accompany the United States World Championship team to London as an event manager.
