Bus Transportation & Parking
Please coordinate school bus transportation with your district office. Parking for buses and passenger vehicles is FREE. We recommend arriving between 10:00am and 10:45am for the 11:00am tipoff. Departures usually take place between 12:30-1:45pm.

Logistics
Each school will be assigned a liaison who will meet Field Trip Day participants at their bus, escort them to their seats in the arena, and serve as a point of contact on game day. Each school will receive the contact information for their liaison the week of the game.

Lunch Options
Teachers should encourage students to bring bag lunches on Field Trip Day. In-arena concessions will also be available at all four concession stands on the main level.

Nametags
Each school will be responsible for creating nametags for all students and chaperones based upon the template provided to the teacher the week before the event. Students and chaperones must have a nametag to enter XFINITY Center. Field Trip Day participants should wear their nametags at all times as the nametags will serve as tickets for students and chaperones at the event.

Seating
Each school will have assigned seating. Seating assignments and a map of the arena will be sent to each school the week of the event.

Tickets
There will be no tickets for schools. Nametags will serve as tickets so it is very important that Field Trip Day participants wear their nametags at all times. If someone wishes to attend the event - such as a parent or a staff member that is not a chaperone - they may purchase a ticket in advance by calling the Terrapin Ticket Office at (301) 314-7070 or by visiting the Terrapin Ticket Office (located near Gate A) on game day.

Bag Policy
XFINITY Center has a clear bag policy for all events. For Field Trip Day, students will be permitted to bring soft side lunch boxes and lunch bags into the arena, but no other bags (including backpacks and purses) that do not meet the bag policy guidelines will be permitted. Click here to view the bag policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if I don't know exactly how many people are coming?
