On his top high school wrestling memory:
"Definitely winning in the state tournament my senior year. That was a really cool moment for me after all my hard work during my high school career." 

On what it's like staying in the state of Maryland to wrestle in college:
"It's great. I think that having guys stay home is great for our program and will be helpful in getting Maryland to the national stage. For me, personally, being close to home is definitely nice. I've always had a strong connection with Coach McCoy and Coach Sheptock, so that definitely factored into my decision." 

On the adjustment to college so far:
"I love college wrestling so far. My ability to work with different partners will only make me better. It's been a great experience so far."

On who he's worked with in the wrestling room:
"I've spent a lot of time with guys like Mansur Abdul-Malik, Youssif Hemida and David-Brian Whisler. Both Coach McCoy and Sheptock have also helped me a lot since I got on campus. Coach McCoy has spent a lot of time working with me on hand-fighting and my positioning in neutral. It's been a big help."

On working with returning All-American Youssif Hemida:
"It's been great. It was one of the biggest reasons i came to Maryland. I wanted to be a great partner for Youssif and learn from him during his senior year. It's always good to work with guys who may be at a higher level because you can learn a lot from them and they're going ot help you get better." 

On his goals for this season:
"I really want to get on the podium at every open tournament I go to this season. I think that would be a good accomplishment."

On how he would describe himself as a wrestler:
"I'm definitely more of an aggressive heavyweight. I like to shoot a lot and try to make things happen."

On his favorite food in College Park:
"Panda Express"

On his favorite sports movie:
"Rudy"

On his favorite musical artist:
"Lil Uzi" 

On his hobbies outside of wrestling:
"I like to play videogames. I like to think I'm above average at Fornite, but maybe not as good as some of the other guys on the team. I have 12 solo wins so that's pretty good."
