Wisnauskas Named B1G Freshman of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland men's lacrosse redshirt freshman Logan Wisnauskas has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after a standout performance in the No. 2 Terps' 13-5 win over No. 17 Michigan last weekend.
Wisnauskas was excellent in the victory, totaling five points on three goals and two assists. Three of his points came during a massive 7-0 second half run to close the game.
The Sykesville, Md., native has scored a goal in all nine games to open his collegiate career and currently ranks fourth among freshmen nationally with 2.33 goals/g. His 21 goals on the season ranks 11th in Maryland history among freshmen, as Matt Hahn owns the class record with 36 in 1995.
Wisnauskas and the Terps return to action Sunday night at 7:00 pm when they face No. 18 Penn State in State College, Pa. The game will be broadcast on Big Ten Network.
