Cirovski Participates in Smith School Summer Program

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland men's soccer head coach Sasho Cirovski participated in the Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business Sports and Entertainment Summer Program Monday afternoon.
Cirovski spoke to a group of high school students on topics such as leadership and team culture. The Terps boss described his own personal journey and the rise of the Maryland Soccer program, which taught lessons that apply to Cirovski's life and coaching philosophies.
"I love talking about leadership and I love talking to young people who care about being successful," Cirovski said to the group. "I'm a student of leadership and I've spent my entire life trying to make good people better people and make better people better teams."
The students are participating in a two-week program run by the Smith School that gives an inside look at the business of sports and entertainment from a variety of perspectives. They will be exposed to a variety of environments, including visiting NFL headquarters in New York and attending a Washington Nationals game.
