COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland Athletics will launch its "Terrapin Heroes" initiative for the November 3 football game between Maryland and Michigan State, it was announced on Monday.
The program, which is part of Military Appreciation Day at Maryland Stadium, will provide Maryland football fans an opportunity to donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces.
Fans can purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate of $35 and donate them to local members of the armed forces through the Veteran Tickets Foundation.
