Terps Compete at Mount St. Mary 5k Duals

EMMITSBURG, Md. - The cross country squad kicked off the 2018 season at the Mount St. Mary 5k Duals in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The line up featured a limited roster as several athletes will be added to the mix over the coming weeks.

Freshman, Alexa Woltjen, made her collegiate debut finishing 10^th overall and was the first Terrapin to cross the line. Caroline Augelli completed the 5k course in the second scoring position for the Terps. Newcomer, Jasmine Tiamfook was the third scorer with a solid start to her collegiate campaign.

Maria Castellanos was back in action and cross the line as the forth scorer for the team. Rounding out the top five was sophomore, Courtney Mann. Dallyssa Huggins completed the 5k course as the 6^th Terrapin finisher.

Emily McAllister and Kiernan Keller rounded out the squad in the 5k competition. Next up the Terps will be racing at the Stevenson Invitational on Saturday, September 8^th.
