Maryland-Minnesota Game Time Announced

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland will host Minnesota on Saturday, Sept. 22 at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium in a game that will kick at noon and air on the Big Ten Network, the Big Ten announced on Monday.
Maryland is off to a 2-0 start for the sixth time in the last seven years, upending then-No. 23 Texas, 34-29, at FedExField to open the season before handling Bowling Green, 45-14, in its first true road game this past Saturday.
Minnesota is also 2-0 on the year with wins over New Mexico State (48-10) and Fresno State (21-14). The Golden Gophers host Miami Ohio this Saturday, the final of their three home games to open 2018.
Maryland leads the all-time series between the programs, 2-1. The Terps pulled out a 31-24 victory in Minneapolis last season. Maryland's other victory over the Gophers came in the 1977 Hall of Fame Bowl at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Terps will play their first game inside Maryland Stadium this Saturday against Temple. Maryland's non-conference finale will kick at noon and air on BTN.
