KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Maryland women's golf team wrapped up at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville.

Sophomore
Charlotte Lafourcade led Maryland with her +5 score of 218 (74-72-72). She finished tied for 10
th in the individual standings, her highest collegiate finish yet.Â

Senior
Ludovica Farina tied for 31
st and earned a score of 224 (73-76-75), which was 11 strokes over par.

Junior
Xiaolin Tian shot a 225 (75-73-77), which was 12 strokes over and sophomore
Virunpat Olankitkunchai earned a score of 226 (72-75-79).

Freshman
Elena Verticchio shot a combined score of 233 (73-81-79) and sophomore
Laura Van Respaille, competing as an individual, earned a score of 272 (96-88-88).

Under head coach
Diana Cantu's leadership, as a team, the Terrapins sat in second after the first round Monday and in third after the second round Monday afternoon. They finished tied for ninth with a team score of 891 (292-296-303).

Next, the Terps will compete in the Princess Anne Invitational Oct. 5-7 in Norfolk, Va.
