Spring 2019: Competed in six of seven events for Maryland…tied for 40th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic with her score of 225 (76-73-76), which was nine strokes over…tied for 47th with her score of 222 (73-75-74), which was +6…tied for 32nd with a score of 224 (74-78-72), which was +8…tied for 51st with her score of 236 (80-74-82), which was +20…earned a score of 156 (78-78), which was 12 strokes over in the Big Ten Championships…earned a score of 233 (76-77-80) in NCAA Regionals.
Fall 2019: Competed in all five events for the Terrapins and led them in one…finished in the top 25 in two events…finished at or under par in 4 rounds and averaged 74.14 strokes…led team and tied for 36th at the Cougar Classic with score of 146 (74-72), which was two strokes over...tied for 31st at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate with her score of 224 (73-76-75), which was +11…tied for 23rd at the Princess Anne Invitational with a score of 220 (72-77-71), which was +10…tied for eighth overall and team finished second in Cardinal Cup 220 (72-76-72), which was just four strokes over…finished second on the team and 42nd overall with a score of 228 (79-71-78).
Spring 2018: Competed in all six events for the Terrapins and led them in three…finished at or under par in four rounds and shot under 75 in 10 of 17 rounds total…shot a 234 (83-77-74), which was +21, in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic…led the Terps and tied for 15th with a score of 220 (75-72-73), which was four strokes over, at the Moon Golf Invitational…tied for 32nd with her score of 227 (77-74-76), which was +11, at the Hurricane Invitational…led the Terps at the Briar’s Creek Invitational with her +6 score of 222 (76-74-72), which put her tied for 30th…led the Terrapins at the Lady Buckeye Invitational with a score of 151 (77-74), which was +7…tied for 25th at the Big Ten Championships with a score of 221 (71-72-78), which was +5 total…earned the Founders Award at the Terp Awards, which is given to the female student-athlete whose extraordinary commitment & dedication serves as an inspiration to teammates, coaches and fellow student-athletes, as well as an ICA Academic Achievement award…earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Fall 2017: Competed in all five events...finished fall season with 74.00 average round score...tied for 16th with her even score of 213 (74-66-73) in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate in Knoxville (Sept. 16-19)...finished sixth in the overall standings and helped team to team win with her score of 216 (71-73-72), which was even in the Nittany Lion Invitational (Sept. 23-24)...tied for 38th with her score of 220 (72-73-75), which was +4, in the Pinehurst Challenge (Oct. 9-10)...tied for 37th with her +7 score of 223 (73-72-78) in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational (Oct. 22-24).
Spring 2017: Competed in all six spring tournaments…finished the season with a 76.33 average round score…placed 29th at the Central District Invitational (75-79-74)…two top-50 finishes at the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate (79-71-78) and Brickyard Collegiate (74-81-77)…tied for 67th at the Big Ten Championship (77-86-80)…named Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner…named to Academic All-Big Ten Team.
Fall 2016: Posted a +5 (73-70-75) for a top-25 finish at the Mercedez-Benz Collegiate Championship…tied for 40th with a +6 (72-73-77) at the Lady Paladin Invitational…placed in the top 35 with a +3 (70-74-75) at the Cougar Classic…notched a top-50 finish to help guide Maryland to a third-place finish at the Pinehurst Challenge…tied for 29th at the Cardinal Cup.
Spring 2016: Shot a +10 and finished within the top 35 golfers at the 2016 Lady Puerto Rico Classic (2/16) … recorded a +11 and finished within the top 60 golfers at the Briar’s Creek Invitational… posted a +14 and finished within the top 55 golfers at the Web.com Intercollegiate (4/5)… notched a +16 and finished within the top 35 golfers at the Lady Buckeye Invitational (4/17)...Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Winner.
Fall 2015: Competed in all four tournaments…recorded her best round of a under-2 69 in the third round of the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate…she was the only golfer on the team to record a round under par three times this season…shot her best tournament round of a 218 (77-72-69) at the 2015 Pinehurst Challenge…led the team with 2 rounds of shooting a 69 or lower…had the lowest tournament round on the team in both the 2015 Mercedes Intercollegiate and the 2015 Palmetto Intercollegiate…averaged a round score of 75.12, which led the team this fall.
BEFORE MARYLAND: In 2012, placed second at Scottish Under 16 Strokeplay Champ and first at Italian Ladies Championship...In 2013, finished first at Polish International Open Ladies Amateur Champ and at Italian Ladies Team championship...In 2014, was a quarterfinalist at the Girls' British Open Amateur Championship, took fifth at European Ladies Team Amateur Champ and second International Junior Open of Belgium...Also finished 18th in LET Access Series (Professional Tour in Europe).
Personal: Parents are Marcello Farina and Liana Santoro…has one brother, Giangiacomo Farina…came to Maryland because it was close to DC, the Maryland pride, many Italian-Americans and amazing coaches…lists Francesco Molinari and Valentina Vezzali as her sports heroes…has a lucky ball each semester and uses the same marker.
