AJ Francis Canned Food Drive to Take Place This Weekend

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The annual A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive will take place this weekend at each of the Maryland Athletics home events, beginning on Friday, November 22 with both the men's basketball game against George Mason and the volleyball match against Illinois, both at the XFINITY Center.
All fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the identified gates prior to each game listed below. Francis, who played four seasons at Maryland from 2009-12 while also carving out a career in the NFL, will attend each competition throughout the weekend.
The schedule for the A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive is below:
Men's Basketball
Date: Friday, November 22 (Maryland vs. George Mason)
Game Time: 7:00 pm
Collection: will begin at 5:30 pm and end midway through the first half (approx. 7:30 pm)
Locations: Gates A, B, C, D and E
Volleyball
Date: Friday, November 22 (Maryland vs. Illinois)
Match Time: 8:00 pm
Collection: will begin when doors open for men's basketball and conclude at the end of Set 1 (approx. 8:30 pm)
Location: Gates C and D
Football
Date: Saturday, November 23 (Maryland vs. Nebraska)
Game Time: 3:30 pm
Collection: will begin at 2:00 pm conclude at the end of the 1st Quarter (approx. 5:00 pm)
Locations: Gates C, F and I
Women's Basketball
Date: Sunday, November 24 (Maryland vs. Quinnipiac)
Game Time: 12:00 pm
Collection: will begin at 11:00 am and end at the conclusion of the 1st Quarter (approx. 12:45 pm)
Locations: Gates C and D
