COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland volleyball team lost to #6 Minnesota Friday night in three sets, 21-25, 19-25, 21-25.
Maryland out-blocked the Golden Gophers 10-4, but Minnesota led in kills (48), assists (44), digs (50), and tied the Terps with five aces each.
Junior outside hitter
Erika Pritchard led the team with 12 kills and 13 digs, notching her eighth double-double of the season and her first since Maryland's 3-1 win at Rutgers on Oct. 12, 2019.
Rebekah Rath added nine kills on a team-high .348 hitting percentage.
Rainelle Jones led the team and tied her career-high with eight blocks and
Samantha Snyder set a team-high 13 assists. Sam Burgio contributed a team-best two service aces.
